Felix The Cat - The Great Comic Book Tales

I've been getting more interested in Felix the Cat lately, so I decided to borrow Felix The Cat - The Great Comic Book Tales from my local library.

The book starts off with a very brief history of Felix, before diving straight into reprints from the 1950's Felix the Cat comics, published by Dell Comics. There's a dozen or so stories in the book (I haven't counted), each of them around 16 pages long, and all of them are a great to read - especially if you can't afford any of the original comics, which I can't!

The Felix the Cat comics had some of the best covers I've ever seen on comics! Here are a few, but you can find plenty more by using Google.

If you like these, you'd LOVE the Floyd Gottfredson Mickey Mouse comics from the 1930s.

Now available in big fancy reprints!

Could you give a link to one or two of these books? A (very) quick google search didn't reveal too much.

I must add that the front covers of the Mickey Mouse Weekly comics from the late '30's and early '40's were fantastic!
