Jonah has returned to the world comics, but not to The Beano where he originated, instead he is now appearing in the virtual pages of The Dandy, and is illustrated by Mike Pearse! Above is the first of the three strips that appears in issue #13, and I've quickly put it together to show here, but to read the others you'll have to buy the latest Dandy from the website.
Sadly the stories are very short and I can imagine it would be quite hard to sink a boat in just five or six panels - but then again this is Jonah! It's less of the "sink every ship he steps on" in this version, and more of the "use up lots of sea jokes", but that's not to say it isn't any good!
