Biffo On A Dolphin

Biffo The Bear did a lot of crossovers during his time on the front cover, but one of my favourites is Biffo On A Dolphin. The strip was, of course, a take on Danny On A Dolphin, which was a popular strip about a boy named Danny Weston who rode dolphins to stop the bad guys. At this point the third series was just about half way through, and this cover appearance was probably a good promotion. Sandy Calder was the strip's third artist, and the strip lasted six more months, before folding in December 1968. Although the three series' only lasted a number of months each, the strip is still very well remembered.
