Terry Joins The Slimms

Once you start spotting Terry Bave in comic strips you just can't stop! I've come across another example, from a lot earlier than the Double Trouble examples shown before (see here), this time from a 1978 issue of Whizzer and Chips! He appeared in The Slimms, helping out mum and dad after they helped out the editor by showing new readers the comic! 

I particulary like panel no. 9 showing all the kids enjoying the comics and placing  regular order - if only everyone still did that!

The exact date of this issue is 28th January 1978.

More Bave in Double Trouble!

Looking through even more issues of Buster from 1990 and 1991, it looks like Terry Bave appeared in dozens of Double Trouble strips, often accompanied by his wife, Shelia! Above is one of the best examples, where Bave actually interacts with Suzy!

hairdressers window! Terry also appears - can you spot him?

A Closer Look - Terry Bave's Double Trouble

I was recently reading an issue of Buster (and not just any issue - the first issue of Buster with Whizzer and Chips, but more about that another time), when I noticed what looked like Terry Bave and his wife in one of the panels of the Double Trouble strip. At first I thought it was Terry because he was holding the sketch-pad, but then I noticed his wife in the window of the house, who I recognised from an interview page, also in Buster.
