A Wacky First Year!

A year ago today, I decided to start the very blog you are reading now! Not only have I generally discussed comics, but have met some great and intresting people along the way! Plus - just a few weeks ago I reached my original goal of 10,000 views! Wow! So a great big thank-you to everybody who has supported me through this first year - if you like the blog please let others know!

Atomic Comic!

Exciting news! Me and Harry Rickard have teamed up to create a comic fanzine called Atomic Comic! Issue one will be released in Febuary (online only at the moment - we 'aint rich enough to put it in the shops!), and will be released monthly from there! I'm very excited about the project - and we've already built up a little bit of interest amongst comic enthusiasts! We have recieved permission to use images from most companies, but Egmont sadly gave us a stern "No." - which means no Buster, Whizzer and Chips or any other fleetway funnies.

The Wizzo Issue 3 and 4!

The Wizzo! is a comic created by Harry Rickard and involves 18 young artists! Plus! For every issue you buy some money is given to charity to help diabetics. So why not buy the latest issue - which comes out in just two weeks! (And you can also buy a re-make of issue three at the same time!)

The Carrotty Kid Is Back!

Hooray! He's back! We haven't seen a new Carrotty Kid strip since Harry Rickard's story was posted waaaaaaaaay back in March - but Mr. Fanton has FINALLY posted a new one! Im not going to reveal too much - but here's a sneak preview:

A new(ish) web-comic created by Harry Rickard, Hannes Smit and Michael Saunders called Door to Door is online! And don't get worried when I say that it is newish - because it has only been online for a little while (there are 5 pages) and you still read back!Another website is The Beano Review Review. Please, BEFORE you go and read this website read a few posts on The Beano Review (if you heven't already) otherwise this blog will make absolutley NO sense too you!
