This was mostly due to the many overhauls it experienced. These came with free gifts and changeovers in its strips. The two biggest were in September 1967 and February 1969-where Nine strips were changed in both; radically altering the comics content. There were also lesser `re-vamps` in Sept 65, March & Sept 66. Jan 1970, Jan 1971, October 1972 and August 1974. By the time the comic joined Topper in July 1977-only Hungry Horace survived from the first issue.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
